Ramkund
The most sacred bathing ghat in Nashik on the holy Godavari River. Lord Rama performed rituals here during his exile in Panchavati. It is the primary location for Shahi Snan during the Kumbh Mela.
Kushavarta Kund
Located in Trimbakeshwar, this is considered the origin point of the sacred Godavari River. Sage Gautam brought Maa Ganga here through penance to Lord Shiva. A major pilgrimage site during Kumbh Mela.
Panchavati
One of the most important spiritual areas in Nashik associated with the Ramayana. Lord Rama, Maa Sita, and Lakshman stayed here during their 14-year exile. Home to Sita Gufa, Ramkund, and Kalaram Temple.
Trimbakeshwar
Famous for the sacred Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Located near Brahmagiri Hills, it becomes a major center for saints and Akharas during the Kumbh Mela.
Tapovan
A spiritually significant area believed to be Lakshman's meditation place during the Ramayana era. Tapovan hosts spiritual camps, saint gatherings, and sacred discourses during the Kumbh Mela season.
Kalaram Temple
One of Nashik's most revered temples, dedicated to Lord Rama with a black stone idol. Located in Panchavati, this ancient temple is a significant spiritual landmark for Kumbh Mela pilgrims.
